Joel Brink Eliminated in 6th Place ($8,645)
Level 27
: Blinds 75,000/125,000, 75,000 ante
Joel Brink opted to fold to an all-in a few hands earlier, leaving only 25,000 behind. He managed to double up to 50,000 and set the stage for this hand.
Michael Barlow limped on the button. Brink was forced all-in from the small blind, and David Hanna checked his option from the big blind.
Hanna and Barlow checked it down on the 5♣8♥3♣A♠7♣ runout and went to showdown.
Hanna tabled 9♣8♠ for a pair of eights. Brink couldn't beat it with his K♠5♥, and Barlow mucked his hand as Brink went out in sixth place.
Brink earned $8,645 for his finish.
