Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
William McCracken made it 2,000 from early position before Norman Glueckert shoved for his final 3,200 on the button. David Caron joined with a call from the big blind, and McCracken also called, putting Glueckert at risk.
The flop came 6♥9♥7♥ before Caron bet 4,500. McCracken called.
Caron slowed down with a check on the 6♣ turn before McCracken fired 7,000 in response. Caron folded as McCracken went to a showdown against Glueckert.
Norman Glueckert: A♣Q♦
William McCracken: 6♦5♦
Glueckert was drawing dead as the turn improved McCracken to trip sixes and had a lock on the hand.
The Q♠ river was cruel as it gave Glueckert a pair of queens that were no good, eliminating him from Day 1a.
