Details of this hand were recounted to PokerNews by players at the table.

Drew "BetOnDrew" Gonzalez and Michael Hamblin clashed preflop, with Gonzalez at risk for his tournament life for 15,000.

Drew "BetOnDrew" Gonzalez: 9♠9♣ All in
Michael Hamblin: 3♣3♠

Gonzalez was well ahead with his higher pocket pair, and the flop only lengthened that lead when it came 9♥7♣K♠.

The 8♣ turn had Hamblin drawing dead.

The river put salt in the wound when the 3♥ rolled off, giving Hamblin a set also that was no good.
