Bogard Takes from Brown
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
The pot had about 9,000 in it when this hand was caught on the 8♠7♠4♣ flop.
Bart Bogard fired 6,000 from early position and was called by David Brown in the hijack.
Bogard put out a bet of 7,000 on the 7♥ turn, which led to another call from Brown.
Both players slowed down with a check on the K♥ river to go to showdown.
Bogard showed 9♠8♣ for a pair of eights, which was enough to get the job done as Brown mucked his hand in response.
