Ellis Scores Knockout
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Five players put in 12,000 each preflop to create a crowded pot as they took the flop.
The flop came A♦5♥5♣ before the big blind went all-in for his final 14,000. Nicholas Burris called from early position, and Duster Ellis also called from the cutoff.
The 2♥ hit the turn before Burris checked. Ellis went all-in, and Burris folded. Ellis then went to a showdown against the big blind.
Big Blind: A♣7♣
Duster Ellis: A♥Q♣
Ellis had the best hand headed to the river and it held on the 9♥ river as Ellis tallied the elimination.
