Drew Gonzalez Eliminated in 7th Place ($8,092)
Drew "BetOnDrew" Gonzalez lost back-to-back pots to exit the tournament. The first hand took place when Gonzalez got it all-in preflop against Craig Leopard, with Leopard at risk for 480,000. Gonzalez barely had him covered with 495,000.
Craig Leopard: 8♥8♦
Drew Gonzalez: Q♠J♠
Leopard hit the flop when it came K♦6♠8♠ to improve to a set, but Gonzalez was not out of it with his flush draw.
The 7♥ turn was of no consequence, and it was Leopard who held when he quads on the 8♣ river.
Gonzalez flicked in his final 15,000 on the next hand as he was all-in and at risk against Rachel Rodgers.
Drew Gonzalez: A♥3♣
Rachel Rodgers: A♠J♦
Gonzalez picked up a good hand considering the situation, but he ran into the better ace of Rodgers as he was searching for a three to keep him in the tournament.
The flop did not help as it came J♠4♦6♦, giving Rodgers a pair of jacks and a huge lead in the hand.
The 10♦ had Gonzalez drawing dead as the Q♥ completed the board.
Gonzalez earned $8,092 for his finish.
