Schmidt With Heaps After Double KO
Liam Schmidt was recently seen dragging in a monster pot after eliminating two players just before the break, and he recounted the action from the hand that catapulted him towards the top of the counts.
According to Schmidt, Joe Foote limped from under the gun. A second opponent limped in from early position, and Schmidt limped behind from middle position. A short-stacked player shoved for around 10,000 in late position, and all three limpers called.
The flop came 7♠5♣8♥ and all three players checked, leading to the 10♣ turn. Foote then shoved, covering his two remaining opponents, who both called, creating a massive four-way all-in.
Late Position opponent: K♥9♥
Early Position opponent: A♣3♣
Joe Foote: K♣10♠
Liam Schmidt: 8♣7♣
Schmidt had two pair and a flush draw, but needed to fade a ton of outs from his opponents, who respectively had an open-ended straight draw, the nut-flush draw, and top pair. The 4♦ river was a brick, and Schmidt took down a colossal pot while eliminating two opponents.
