Lu Stuns MR in Massive Pot
Level 17
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
A preflop raising war between David Lu and MR in the blinds ended with Lu all in for his last 445,000.
David Lu: A♣K♦
MR: A♥A♠
Lu had run right into aces as MR was poised to climb over 1,000,000 with this pot, but the Q♥J♠10♠ flop gave Lu the nut straight and the lead.
The rest of the board ran out 4♦J♦ and Lu earned the miracle double up. "I just lost a million-chip pot. Wasn't meant to be," MR said in resignation as he handed over most of his stack.
