Flashback: Jesse Jones Wins First Stop of 2026 RGPS Passport Season

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Last weekend at the inaugural stop of the 2026 RunGood Poker Series Passport Season, Jesse Jones triumphed over Joshua Hatfield in the $800 Main Event, earning a payday of $34,074 along with his third RGPS ring.

The event drew 209 entries, all of whom braved the frigid, snowy weather in Oklahoma. Of those, only 23 players advanced and returned for the final day of action. Jones entered Day 2 as the runaway chip leader, and it looked as if he was going to have a smooth day at the office all the way through.

Hatfield had other plans and made Jones' victory anything but easy once heads-up play began. After a lengthy duel, in which the chip lead swapped back and forth multiple times, Jones accomplished what he set out to do and claimed the lion's share of the $146,300 prize pool.

Shriki Wins Big Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Shlomi Shriki began with a raise to 3,5000 from under the gun. His wager was called by the small blind before the big blind chose to re-raise to 20,000. Shriki opted to go all-in for 41,200.

The small blind also jammed for 24,500, and both were called and at risk after the big blind stuck around.

The flop gave the small blind additional outs as it fanned out 245, but the K turn put Shriki firmly in the lead.

Shriki secured the pot when the A river peeled to award him a big pot as players inch closer to the end of registration for Day 1a.

Flush for Leach

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was approximately 14,000 in the pot on the flop of 4KA before a check from the small and big blind led to a bet of 7,700 from the hijack. David Leach responded with a jam for 39,500, which led to folds from both blinds before the hijack went into the tank.

The hijack called after considerable thought to put Leach at risk.

David Leach: 74All in
Hijack: A9

The hijack opponent made the correct call as he held the lead, but Leach was live with a flush and two pair outs to stay in contention.

The 10 turn was the right color, but the wrong suit. Leach was given a welcome sight as the 2 peeled on the river to improve Leach to a flush and sink his opponent, who was left with a paltry 1,200 in chips following the loss.

Geard Ends it on the Flop

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The action opened when a player from early position raised to 1,800. The raise was called by Blake Geard on the button before both blinds came along to create a four-handed pot.

The J72 flop led to three checks before Geard shoved for 22,000. The all-in was good enough as all three opponents folded to award the pot to Geard.
