Nguyen had both covered and beat going into the runout, but the flop introduced some drama as it fanned out 2♥9♠8♠ to give Ali a flush draw.

The Q♦ turn increased Ali's outs, but the 4♦ river sealed the deal in favor of Nguyen, who scored a double knockout to take down the pot.

Ali earned $6,200 for his 19th-place finish, and Smyth won $5,300 for his 20th-place finish.

The K♦ river was of no help as Almeida was eliminated in 21st place.

Guan checked the A♥5♠J♦ flop before Smyth bet 65,000. Guan called.

Both players checked the 9♥ turn to bring the 5♥ river. Guan bet 110,000 and was called by Smyth.

Guan showed J♣10♦ for a pair of jacks, which was enough to take it down as Smyth pitched his cards in the muck to yield the pot to Guan.

Andrew Nguyen shoved from the big blind position, which sent Deyvi Pineda into the tank.

Pineda gave it considerable thought, but ultimately chose to fold as Nguyen scooped a sizeable pot to continue to build his stack on Day 2.

At another table, Kyle Hill busted to be eliminated from contention.
