The RunGood Poker Series heads into the heart of the Midwest when Day 1a of the $800 RunGood Passport Season Council Bluffs Main Event begins at 6 p.m. local time.

It’s already been a successful week for the RGPS team here at Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Iowa. Ambassador Blair Hinkle took down the $400 PokerNews PowerStack event last night to win $20,842. The WSOP bracelet winner and a crop of hundreds of hopefuls will now turn their attention to the Main Event and chase a share of the $111,000 guaranteed prize pool and RGPS championship ring.

This is the first of three starting flights. Players begin with a 30,000 starting stack and blinds of 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Levels will be 30 minutes long through the end of Level 8, when they will be extended to 40 minutes. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 9, with unlimited reentries available. The day will conclude once 12.5 percent of the field remains.
