The RunGood Poker Series Passport Season Dallas continues with Day 1c of the $1,200 Main Event taking place today at 11:00 a.m. local time and 1d starting at 5:00 p.m. The tournament features a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, with seven Day 1 starting flights taking place over three days. Players who advance from each flight will combine and return on Sunday, March 29, for Day 2, when a winner will be crowned.

This is the first time the RGPS has partnered with Palace Poker to host a tournament series, and through the first two starting flights, 65 entries have been tallied. Only eight competitors will advance to Day 2, all of whom have already made the money. Those numbers are expected to grow substantially as the Friday and Saturday flights play out.

Eric Chang finished as the player on top in Day 1a with 589,000, while Sharon Aloor emerged as the overwhelming Day 1b chip leader, bagging an impressive 745,000.

Players will begin each starting flight with 50,000 in chips, and blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Blinds will be 30 minutes during the Day 1 flights and 40 minutes during Day 2. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9, and unlimited reentries are allowed.

Should a player choose to play multiple Day 1 flights, only the highest qualifying stack will be permitted to continue to Day 2. Any lower stack(s) will be removed from play at the start of Day 2 and receive a min-cash.

Play for Day 1 flights will conclude once 12.5% of the field (rounded down) remains, and those who bag will be in the money. Day 2 will then start at the earliest blind level of the seven flights on Sunday, March 29, and play down to a winner.
