Procaccinni Puts on His Cape
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Isaac Ovalle raised to 1,200 from under-the-gun and was called by a player from early position before "Yankee" Jim Procaccinni chose to call from the cutoff. The small blind also came along to create a four-handed pot.
The small blind checked the 8♣8♦7♦ flop before Ovalle bet 1,500. Procaccini was the only caller.
Ovalle bet again to the tune of 3,500 on the J♠ turn, and was called yet again by Procaccini.
The 10♥ river led to a bet of 12,000 from Ovalle. Procaccini gave it some consideration before he made the call.
Ovalle showed 5♥5♠, but it was not good enough to claim the pot as Procaccini showed 6♠6♣ for a slightly better pair to take down the pot.
