Williams Survives to Double
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
A player from under-the-gun made it 2,700 and was called by the next seat over and the hijack.
Adrian "Floating the Riv" Williams opted to go all-in for 15,800 from the cutoff.
The under-the-gun player also shoved to isolate and put Williams at risk as the other two opponents folded.
Adrian Williams: A♥3♦
Opponent: 9♥9♣
Williams was in trouble against the pocket nines of his opponent.
The flop brought no help as it fanned out K♥4♥3♣, but the turn came to the rescue as the A♠ appeared to give Williams a better pair.
The 10♥ river offered no additional drama as Williams survived to secure the double.
