Akari Doubles Through MacAdams
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
A player from early position raised to 5,000 before Robyn MacAdams re-raised to 15,000 from the cutoff. Ghadi Akari opted to shove for 82,500 on the button. The early position player folded, but MacAdams made the call to put Akari at risk.
Ghadi Akari: K♥K♦
Robyn MacAdams: 8♥8♣
Akari stayed in good shape to double up on the 7♥A♣7♣ flop.
The 5♥ turn did not alter the standings and the Q♣ river sealed it in favor of Akari.
