Harmon Bests Cardenas
Level 19
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Zozimo Cardenas raised to 70,000 from the cutoff, and Wayne Harmon defended his big blind.
Both players checked the 3♣4♠Q♣ flop and the 8♣ turn to bring the Q♦ river.
Harmon put out a bet of 50,000 and was called by Cardenas.
Harmon showed 9♠8♥ for a pair of eights, which was good enough to take down the pot as Cardenas pitched his cards into the muck.
