On the heads-up turn of 10♥6♠4♣5♣, garoa was all-in for 40,800 and his 8♥7♥ had already locked up the pot as his table neighbour only had J♥J♠ for the overpair. The river even brought the bittersweet J♠ but didn't change a thing.
With the eliminations and re-entries coming at a frequent pace in the last few minutes, the tournament information has now updated to 202 entries which makes Day 1d the second-strongest turnout so far. Exactly half of the field remains for the time being but that is likely up for frequent change for the remainder of this heat.
Following an open raise to 3,000 and a three-bet to 9,000, the hijack moved all-in for 34,500. Table chip leader Ketone on the button declared the all-in over the top and all other players folded.

The hijack used his one time, as far as I can tell, by repeating "ichiban" but it never came on the A♣J♥4♣A♦8♣ runout.
Furukawa was all-in with A♦Q♠ out of the small blind and ran them smack dab into the K♠K♣ of ikenori. The 7♥5♥5♠9♣Q♥ board delivered only one queen and that wasn't enough to keep Furukawa in contention, who quickly left the tournament area.
Also no longer in the mix is Coliorosso, who reported a nasty bad beat before the break.
While several players have been gunning for his top spot, KJ appears to be the current chip leader with nearly seven times the starting stack. In a min-raised pot he checked it down against a recent arrival on the Q♣5♦4♠9♣2♥ board and his opponent won the pot with K♣2♠ for the rivered bottom pair.
Five ways to the Q♠J♠5♣ flop, kami59sai bet 6,500 and was called two ways. kouichirou3 then pushed all-in for 27,400 on the button and kami59sai called. Riverking also called all-in and they proceeded to the following showdown.

In a three-way all-in, kami59sai had the best of it heading into the showdown with J♥J♠ versus A♦K♠ and A♣Q♣. The latter belonged to tw and kami59sai got very excited on the 6♠5♦2♠J♣7♦ runout as his jacks improved to a set for the double knockout.
One hand later, hiro1988 bet the turn and river of the Q♠6♠2♥6♣3♣ board with the final bet worth 5,000. kami59sai called and was good with the Q♦8♦ while hiro1988 mucked his cards.
Ketone already had a large stack and built that up even more when he looked up a shorter stack with J♠10♦ versus A♦4♦. The J♦J♣10♠ flop was quite decisive to make the 4♣ turn and 9♦ river a formality.
