Day 1a of RGPS Passport Southern Indiana $800 Main Event Kicks Off at 6 p.m.

The RunGood Poker Series returns to Caesars Southern Indiana, just 20 minutes from downtown Louisville, as a busy weekend of poker and horse racing gets underway. Day 1a of the RGPS Passport Season $800 Main Event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. local time, marking the first of four starting flights scheduled over three days. The tournament features a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, and players who advance from each flight will combine and return for Day 2 on Sunday, May 3, where a winner will be crowned.

The last time the RGPS made a stop in Elizabeth, Indiana was last summer for the 2025 Grand Prix series, where the main event generated a sizable $250,600 prize pool. Nick Rigby topped a field of 358 entrants to capture his second RGPS ring along with the first-place prize of $52,323.

Since then, Rigby has been on an absolute tear in RunGood events, winning six more rings to bring his total to eight. Perhaps the most impressive part of his heater took place when he won three tournaments in 24 hours last month at the RGPS Passport St. Louis stop. In just a short time, he has become a force to be reckoned with, showing no signs of slowing down.

Players will begin each starting flight with 30,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Blinds will be 30 minutes in length during the Day 1 flights and will increase to 40 minutes for Day 2. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9, where players have the option to forfeit their stack and reenter for $800.

Should a player choose to play multiple Day 1 flights, only the highest qualifying stack will be permitted to continue to Day 2. Any lower stack(s) will be removed from play at the start of Day 2 and receive a min-cash.

Play for Day 1 flights will conclude once 12.5% of the field (rounded down) remains and those who bag will be in the money. Day 2 will then start at the earliest blind level of the four flights on Sunday, May 3, where the event will play down to a winner.
