The penultimate starting flight is in the books in the $800 Main Event here at the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season hosted by Caesars Southern Indiana. Day 1c had a solid turnout, considering it was Derby Day, with 95 total entries being recorded. Only 11 players will return for Day 2 on Sunday, all guaranteed a min-cash.
Jasper May rose to the top as the only player to surpass the half-million chip mark, bagging an impressive 505,000. He currently sits third in the overall counts through the first three starting flights. May climbed steadily throughout the day and remained active during the last few levels to continue to chip up.
Sitting in second, not far behind May, is Ryan Stone, who ended the day with 463,000. He helped burst the bubble on the final hand of the night when he won a flip with pocket eights versus his opponent's ace-jack. Rounding out the podium is Michael Penrose with 417,000, who was saved on the river during the early levels to crack pocket aces.

World Series of Poker bracelet winner Ronnie Day (211,000) found a bag for Sunday after falling short in the previous two flights. Day is fresh off a big win, having taken down the Reserve Club Five-Year Anniversary tournament for $180,854 just last week. He will look to use his experience to navigate his way towards another title.
Others to look out for as Day 2 plays out include Robert Castoire (307,000), Jeremy Brown (256,000), and Garry Simms (129,000).
Brian Winter and Carl Masters, both RunGood ambassadors, were back in action on Day 1c, but neither could find any momentum. They will have one last shot to secure a bag in Day 1d and join fellow ambassadors Duster Ellis, Chris Audrain, and Craig Welko, who advanced in Day 1b last night.
Other notables who fell short include Michael Chilton, Donovan Dean, Neal Harding, Bryan Dillon, and Ryan Appleberry.
Day 1d began at 6:00 p.m. local time, and chip counts will be posted on the RunGood Rewards App later this evening once the flight concludes. At the time of writing, 70 players are currently registered.
Full prize pool and payout information will be posted before the start of play on Day 2. Cards will be in the air at 1:00 p.m. local time on Sunday for the final day of action.

Action went three-ways to a flop of 4♦Q♥9♣ in a hand between the under-the-gun Ronnie Day and the players in the blinds.
The trio checked it to the 4♠ turn, where the small blind led out for 10,000 and only Day called to see the Q♣ river.
The small blind led out again, this time for 15,000, and Day thought for a moment before flicking in the call.
The small blind showed Jx10x for the missed straight draw and Day claimed the pot when he tabled 8♠8♣.

The player in the hijack open-shoved for about 50,000 and Jeff Traynor reshoved on the button to isolate, resulting in folds from the players in the blinds.
Hijack: A♦10♦
Jeff Traynor: A♠Q♥
The flop came 7♠9♣K♠, with Traynor's ace-queen still in the lead. The 8♥ turn provided a sweat when the hijack picked up an open-ender, but the 4♠ river was a brick and the pot was pushed Traynor's way.
