On the 4♦ river, Sanguiliano checked again and Gambrell bet 10,000. Given that the bet represented half of Sanguiliano's remaining stack, he took some time before making the call.

He saw the bad news when Gambrell turned over A♣10♥ for two pair, aces and tens.
