Chilton Shows a Set

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Michael Chilton
Michael Chilton

The under-the-gun player raised to 500 and Michael Chilton defended in the big blind.

The flop came 94K and Chilton check-called a bet of 600 from his opponent.

On the Q turn, Chilton check-raised to 5,500 over his opponent's bet of 2,000, which resulted in a fold. Chilton showed 44 for a set of fours.

"How'd I get away from that so cheap?" asked under the gun as the pot was pushed Chilton's way.

Day 1c and 1d Flights are Last Chance to Bag for Sunday

RGPS Passport Season Ring
RGPS Passport Season Ring

The final two starting flights of the $800 Main Event are on the agenda today as the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season continues at Caesars Southern Indiana. Day 1c kicks off at 11:00 a.m. local time and Day 1d gets underway at 6:00 p.m.

The tournament features a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, and those who advance from each flight will combine and return for Day 2 on Sunday, May 3, where a winner will be crowned.

Through Day 1b, a total of 130 entries have been tallied, and with the busiest day on the schedule left to be had, the field is expected to grow considerably. As of now, only 15 of those competitors will be advancing to the final day of action, all of whom are already in the money.

Day 1a chip leader Gene Grieshaber (642,000) currently leads the way in the overall counts. Not far behind him in second is Day 1b chip leader Rodney Deaton with 534,000.

RunGood ambassadors Craig Welko (200,000), Chris Audrain (99,000), and Duster Ellis (89,000) all advanced to Day 2 on Sunday.

Players will begin each starting flight with 30,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Blinds will be 30 minutes in length during the Day 1 flights and will increase to 40 minutes for Day 2. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9, where players have the option to forfeit their stack and reenter for $800.

Should a player choose to play multiple Day 1 flights, only the highest qualifying stack will be permitted to continue to Day 2. Any lower stack(s) will be removed from play at the start of Day 2 and receive a min-cash.

Play for Day 1 flights will conclude once 12.5% of the field (rounded down) remains and those who bag will be in the money. Day 2 will then start at the earliest blind level of the four flights on Sunday, May 3, where the event will play down to a winner.
