Neal Harding: AQ All in
Kurt Jewell: KK

Jewell pulled ahead further on the 9QK flop, improving to top set. Harding picked up chop outs on the 2 turn but couldn't find a diamond on the river when the 6 completed the board.

Tyler Smith was short-stacked and got it all in preflop from the big blind against Gene Grieshaber in the hijack.

Tyler Smith: 55 All in
Gene Grieshaber: AQ

It was a fair fight, but Grieshaber pulled ahead on the 7QA flop, improving to two pair. The 2 turn and 7 river offered no help to Smith and he was sent packing.

Jewell Goes for Thin Value

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Kurt Jewell
Kurt Jewell

Action folded around to Dan Hummer in the small blind, who completed, and Kurt Jewell checked back in the big blind.

The flop of A52 went check-check, as did the 4 turn. On the 8 river, Hummer led out for 7,000 and Jewell raised to 21,000.

Hummer thought for a brief moment before making the call and tabling J8 for a pair of eights. Jewell turned over 84 for two pair, eights and fours to scoop the pot.

The player in the cutoff raised to 8,500, the player on the button called, and Gene Grieshaber three-bet to 33,000 in the small blind. The cutoff got out of the way and the button pulled back his initial call and slid out a small stack of chips, while tabling pocket tens. The floor was called over and ruled it a call.

The flop came 2JA and both players checked to the 2 turn where Grieshaber bet enough to put his opponent all in, who had 25,500 behind.

The button tossed his exposed pocket tens into the muck and the pot was pushed Grieshaber's way.

Flashback: Nicholas Rigby Wins 2025 RGPS Grand Prix Southern Indiana Main Event

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Nicholas Rigby
Nicholas Rigby

After a dominating showing last fall at the final table, Nicholas Rigby topped a field of 358 entries to win RGPS Grand Prix Southern Indiana $800 Main Event for $52,323.

Rigby held the chip lead to begin the final table, and he said his plan was "aggression out of the gates." He swept up plenty of pots uncontested, and he won a huge all-in showdown against second-place Charles Rexroat to take more than 60% of the chips to five-handed play. Rexroat shoved into Rigby's aces up with a pair of tens in the hole, leaving the other players seemingly fighting for second.

"It feels great," Rigby simply said afterward.
