Tepen Keeps Climbing
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Action picked up on the turn in a four-way pot with the board reading 5♣8♥J♠4♥. With 13,500 in the middle, the small blind led out for 5,000 and only Ryan Tepen called in early position.
The river landed the A♥ completing the backdoor flush draw, and the small blind slowed down with a check.
Tepen fired out a bet of 15,000 and the small blind reluctantly tossed his cards into the muck.
