Overton Overall Chip Leader After Four Flights
The fourth flight of the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season Finale $600 The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship has come to a close at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. Day 1d hosted a total of 257 entries, which permitted 26 entries to advance to Day 2 in their pursuit of an RGPS title. With this flight’s conclusion, a total of two more flights remain on the schedule as players have a couple more shots at punching their ticket to the final day.
After nearly 16 levels of play, it was Aaron Overton (771,000) who topped the leaderboard for the fourth flight. Overton was followed by Randy “3 Coin” Sadler (682,000) and Konrad Kuciej (617,000) to round out the top three in the chip standings from Day 1d.

Overton is not long removed from his championship run earlier this year in March when he took first place in the RGPS Passport Season Graton Casino Main Event for $95,050. Overton brings with him a wealth of experience in live tournament play as he has amassed just over $1,700,000 in career earnings according to The Hendon Mob. Overton will have the special opportunity to win two RGPS rings in one season should he continue his success with a title-winning showing on Day 2.
The eccentric "3 Coin" Sadler was the center of attention for the majority of Day 1d. Sadler is more known for his cash game celebrity status on streamed games around the country, but made an appearance here at Thunder Valley Casino Resort to take his shot in the tournament streets. Sadler was a wildcard at the table and began his momentum on Day 1d when he eliminated David Vu, while doubling through Ryan Heitzman. Sadler kept his antics and unpredictable play going as he continued to rise up the chip counts, only to be surpassed as the chip leader by Overton late on the day.
Kuciej is a local player. The Stockton resident does not have any RunGood cashes on his The Hendon Mob profile, making this the first time the local has cashed at a RunGood event. He will have an opportunity to add another entry and perhaps the biggest score of his life with a deep run here at Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
Notable Tyler Patterson (129,000) also bagged and punched his ticket to Day 2. Thunder Valley Casino Resort has been a good venue for Patterson, as he won the 2023 RGPS Main Event to score $200,422.
Julie Cornelius also advanced to Day 2. Cornelius finished second at the RGPS Main Event in Council Bluffs in 2024, as her quest for her first RPGS title remains on the table as she moves on to the final day of play.
Players are currently playing through Day 1e, with Sunday hosting Day 1f for the final flight before the tournament’s conclusion on Day 2. Players begin the tournament with 30,000 in starting chips. Registration closes at the beginning of Level 9. Entrants are permitted one reentry per flight. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will be able to take their largest stack forward and forfeit their other stack(s) and will receive a payout of the lowest Day 2 prize instead.
The top 12.5% of the field from each flight will make the money. A total of 10% of the field from each starting flight will be permitted to advance to Day 2.
Blinds are scheduled for 30 minutes on Day 1 flights, with the blind levels increasing to 40 minutes on Day 2. The final day of play will also be played eight-handed, while the final table will congregate at nine-handed.
