Zhu Leave Yacullo on Fumes

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board read J23K with over 13,000 already in the middle when this hand was picked up.

Bohao Zhu bet 4,500 from the small blind on the turn. Scott Yacullo opted to jam on the button, and Zhu did not think too long before he put in the call to put himself at risk for 31,700 total as they went to a showdown.

Bohao Zhu: 84All in
Scott Yacullo: AA

Yacullo held the pocket aces, but they were in danger of being cracked against the turned flush of Zhu.

The A river gave Yacullo a set, but it was no good as he was searching for a heart to retake the lead on the river as Zhu took down the pot.

Lee Sends Sarte Out

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

This hand was picked up on a board that read AQ57 with approximately 13,500 already in the middle.

Arlen Sarte checked his option from early position before Neng Lee made a bet of 9,500 on the button. Sarte chose to check-raise all-in for 16,000 total. Lee made the call and sent them to a showdown with Sarte at risk.

Arlen Sarte: A4All in
Neng Lee: A8

Lee had Sarte hoping for his kicker of a chop, as Lee had the better kicker and the advantage with one card left to come.

The 10 river was not what Sarte was hoping for, as he was eliminated by Lee's better ace.

Raymond Tjenalooi was the first to act and shipped it for his remaining 19,000. Zi Li made the call from the next seat over as the rest of the table folded, and Tjenalooi and Li went to a showdown.

Raymond Tjenalooi: 66All in
Zi Li: 1010

Tjenalooi was in trouble against Li's better pair.

The runout did not bring any drama as it came AQK43 to award Li the pot and eliminate Tjenalooi.

Tran Dispatches of Sanchez

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Harvey Tran
Harvey Tran

Abel Sanchez limped from early position before Harvey Tran made it 3,000 on the button. Sanchez made the call to stick around.

Both players checked the 10104 flop to bring the 6 turn.

Sanchez checked again before Tran put out a bet of 3,500. Sanchez called.

The 3 river led to another check from Sanchez. Tran continued to bet with a wager of 11,000 on the river. Sanchez quickly check-raised all-in for 27,600 to put Tran to a decision.

Tran cut out the chips for a call, but languished as he thought about his decision. Tran eventually put out the call to go to a showdown against Sanchez.

Sanchez showed 53 for a missed straight draw that hit a pair of threes on the river. Tran tabled A10 for trip tens to claim the pot and eliminate Sanchez in the process.

Song Scoops Big Pot with Queen High

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Won Song
Won Song

Jeffrey Hinders got the hand started with an open to 1,500 from under the gun. Arthur Abraamyan called from early position before Qiming Tan made the call from the cutoff. Nicholas Lewis joined with a call on the button. Won Song raised the price of admission when he three-bet to 5,000 from the big blind. Hinders and Abraamyan called, while Tan made the fold. Lewis also called as the pot was four-handed as they went to a flop.

Song continued for 14,000 on the KJ10 flop. Hinders went all-in for 13,000 to put himself at risk. Abraamyan took some time to think about the hand before he made the fold, and Lewis followed with a fold as Song and Hinders went to a showdown.

Jeffrey Hinders: 86All in
Won Song: Q8

Despite only having queen high, Song was ahead against Hinders with two cards to go.

The 2 turn did not hit Hinders, and the J river sealed the deal as Hinders would whiff on his flush outs to fall to Song's queen high.

Avalos Clears Out Competition

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Eric Welch made it 1,200 from under the gun before Justo Avalos called out of the cutoff. Both blinds came along for the ride when Timothy Bandy called out of the small blind, and Julie Parker joined the fray from the big blind.

The 824 flop was checked by both blinds before Welch continued for 1,600. All three opponents made the call as the pot stayed four-handed as they went to the turn.

The K turn was checked by all four players to usher in the 4 river. It checked to Avalos on fifth street before he put out a bet of 4,500. Nobody called as Avalos took down the pot on the river without a showdown.
