The Horseshoe Casino Tunica poker registration desk was busy all day long, as 218 entries were recorded on Day 1b of the 2026 RunGood Passport Season Tunica $600 Main Event.

That brought the total field through two flights to 329 entries, with Day 1c adding enough to push the tournament past the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. Just 27 players earned a spot in the money on Day 1b, joining the 11 survivors from the opening flight.

Leading the pack is Memphis, Tennessee native David Frazier, who rode a late-day surge to collect 586,000 chips. That saw him take the overall lead through two flights, pulling ahead of Adam Thomas (504,000) before the day came to an end.

The pair now join Day 1a chip leader Chad Taylor (510,000) as the only players to bag up more than half a million chips to this point.

Busy Saturday

The parade of players was constant throughout the day, and included 2003 WSOP Main Event champion Chris Moneymaker, who joined the action late in Level 8 before late registration came to a close.

Moneymaker’s day did not last long, however, as he lost a good portion of his stack in a flip with Michael Higgins before bowing out a short time later.

The field also saw defending RGPS Tunica champion Carl Masters take his shot at another deep run, but the 2025 winner ran into Suzanne White’s pocket aces and was sent to the rail.

Among the notables sitting inside the top ten after the second flight are Adam Cotant (396,000), Russell Boyette (368,000), and Mark Davis (323,000).

RGPS Ambassadors headlined the field at the historic Horseshoe Tunica poker room, with Jeff Copeland (303,000) and Preston McEwen (197,000) earning a bag for the final day.

This week’s $250 PokerNews PowerStack champion Cody Stanford was unable to build any momentum, hitting the rail to join fellow ambassadors Drew Gonzalez and Craig Welko.

The day came to an end shortly after hand-for-hand play began, with Kimberly Francisco jamming top pair into a set of sevens to leave the final 27 in the money. They'll be joined by the remaining players from the final flight, the last chance to earn a shot at RGPS glory in Tunica.

Action will resume on Sunday, March 15 at 12:00 p.m. local time, where the remaining contenders will combine to play down to a champion. The blinds will be lined up with the earliest finishing flight, and levels will be extended to 40 minutes in length for the duration of the tournament.

Full field numbers and prize pool information will be confirmed at the conclusion of the final flight, and payouts will be posted prior to the resumption of play.

One last day remains at Horseshoe Casino, so don’t miss a moment as the PokerNews live reporting team brings you full coverage of the dramatic finale in the RGPS Passport Tunica Main Event.
