Saunders Shows Two Pair

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

David Altizer opened to 600 on the button, and Michael Saunders made the call in the small blind. The big blind also came along to see the 854 flop, where action was checked to Altizer.

Altizer slid out a bet of 800, and Saunders replied with a raise to 2,500. The big blind folded, while Altizer made the call.

Saunders led out for 4,000 on the K turn, and Altizer called once more. The Q river produced checks from both players, and Saunders tabled 84 for two pair.

Altizer slid his cards into the muck, and Saunders picked up the pot.

Covich Falls to Francisco

Kimberly Francisco
Kimberly Francisco

Michael Chilton opened to 1,000 from under the gun, and Kimberly Francisco three-bet on the button to 2,600. Frank Covich moved his remaining stack of 14,700 all in from the big blind, and Chilton took a moment before letting his hand go.

Francisco made the quick call, leaving Covich at risk.

Frank Covich: AQ All in
Kimberly Francisco: AK

Covich stood up from his seat after seeing Francisco's dominant hand, and the 1065A3 runout changed nothing. Francisco's king kicker held, send Covich out early.

Langham Leads the River

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Teresa Lammie opened to 1,000 from under the gun, and Clinton Langham made the call in the small blind. John McCoy defended his big blind, and the 210J flop was checked around.

Langham checked again on the 10 turn, and McCoy slid out a bet of 2,000. Lammie made the call, as did Langham.

The Q river completed the board, and Lagham led out for 1,500. McCoy quickly folded, while Lammie took a moment before smiling and letting her cards go.

"You have a ten," she said across the table as Lagham collected the pot.

Top Pair for Paxton

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was three-handed to the 7310 flop, where Thurman Garner checked from under the gun. Jeffrey Edwards slid out a bet of 1,000 on his left, and Marcus Paxton called on the button.

Garner folded, and the dealer flipped over the J turn. Edwards bet another 1,000, and Paxton tossed out a raise to 3,000.

The call was made, and Edwards checked the 4 river. Paxton took a moment before checking back, tabling KJ for a pair of jacks. That was enough to claim the pot, as Edwards mucked.
