Christopher Parkes limped in early position, and Bracher Vaughan also called in the cutoff. Richard Smart came along in the small blind before Steven Wampler raised to 3,000 in the big blind.
All three opponents called, and Smart checked the 3♣A♣4♥ flop. Wampler continued with another bet of 3,000, and Parkes folded. Vaughan and Smart called, and the dealer flipped over the 8♠ turn.
Wampler tossed out a 5,000 chip, and Vaughan promptly raised to 15,000. Smart folded, and Wampler moved all in for 54,300.
Vaughan went into the tank, taking some time before letting his hand go and Wampler collected the pot.
