After an open from Dave Queen in the hijack, Jeremiah Slough three-bet shoved for 148,000 on the button. Action folded back to Queen, who snap-called for 140,000.
Dave Queen:
Jeremiah Slough:
Slough was drawing dead by the turn of a runout, and he parted with almost all of his chips in the process. Slough was unable to rally and busted a short time later.
Chris Berry bet 22,000 from under the gun on a flop, and Nick Barksdale raised to 51,000 from the cutoff. Berry four-bet shoved for 140,000, and Barksdale went deep into the tank.
Two minutes ticked by before Barksdale, who had a similarly sized stack to Berry, elected to fold.
Brad Sjostrom raised to 15,000 from the cutoff, and Jose Bermudes three-bet to 41,000 in the big blind. Sjostrom four-bet shoved for 100,000 and Bermudes called.
Brad Sjostrom:
Jose Bermudes:
Bermudes hit top set on the flop to leave Sjostrom looking for running cards for quads or a straight to survive. The turn and river blanked off, and Sjostrom was eliminated.
Marvin Donaldson jammed for 45,000 on the third hand of hand-for-hand play from the small blind, and Zach Davidson called in the big blind.
Marvin Donaldson:
Zach Davidson:
Donaldson improved to a full house on the flop, but one of the worst cards in the deck peeled off on the turn, giving both players quads, but Davidson's ace-kicker was in front. Donaldson's only hope was for an ace on the river to chop, but he ended up as the bubble boy when the river hit the felt.
With the elimination of Josue Rosas in 56th, the remaining players are now on the bubble. Stay tuned as we wait for the final player of the RGPS Horseshoe Council Bluffs $420 Golden Ticket Main Event to be eliminated shy of the money.
