Paul Matzinger limped in from early position, and Brad Backus raised to 26,000 in the big blind. Matzinger three-bet to 55,000, and Backus called.

Backus checked the flop, and Matzinger instantly announced, "All in," and flicked a chip into the pot to confirm the bet. Backus tanked for a minute, at one point asking Matzinger, "Do you have the aces?" then slammed in a call for his last 140,000.
