Dillon Raises With a Big Draw

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Matthew Dillon
Matthew Dillon

The hijack raised to 1,000, and the cutoff called. Matthew Dillon three-bet to 3,200 from the button, and only the cutoff called.

Both players checked the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, and the cutoff bet 2,500 when the {a-Hearts} fell on the turn. Dillon raised to 7,500, and the cutoff thought for a few moments before sliding his cards to the dealer. Dillon showed the table {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush draw and a gutshot, and took down the pot.

Makin' Bacon With Bacome

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

A player checked a {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Spades}{k-Clubs} board from the big blind, and Adam Bacome bet 8,000 on the button. The big blind check-raised all in for 22,500, and Bacome went into the tank.

"You gonna show me a set of sixes?" Bacome asked the big blind, who didn't reply. A short time later, Bacome called.

Opponent: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Adam Bacome: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Bacome's kicker proved to be the difference maker when the {k-Diamonds} fell on the river, and he took out his opponent.

Uchoa Lurks With Kings

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player raised to 1,000 from under the gun, and Wagner Uchoa called next to act. Right behind them, a middle position player three-bet shoved for 6,600, and action folded back to the under-the-gun player. After a few moments thought, the under-the-gun player folded, and Uchoa snap-called.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}
Wagner Uchoa: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Uchoa's kings held up on a {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs} runout, and he earned the knockout.

Fortuitous Turn For Watkins Earns a Dub

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Patrick Watkins checked a {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Spades} board from the small blind, and the big blind bet 2,000. The hijack called, and Watkins check-raised all in for 6,600. The big blind made a quick call, while the hijack folded.

Patrick Watkins: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

"I need a queen and a queen only...shoulda bet the flop," the big blind said ruefully.

No queen would come on the {j-Hearts} river, and Watkins doubled up.
