Paxton, who stated that he was on a heater, was in a strong position to send Cornelius to the rail, but when the flop came 6♦8♦2♦, Cornelius picked up a lot of outs to take the pot away and secure a double.
When the turn brought the 7♦, Cornelius made the nut flush and left Paxton drawing dead headed to the inconsequential 8♣, officially putting an end to Paxton's heater.
