Setti's Lucky Hand Nets a Pot

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Bhaskar Setti
Bhaskar Setti

Ron Koenemann bet out for 125,000 on a {10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} board from the big blind, and Bhaskar Setti called in middle position. Steve Vang folded on the button, and Adrian Jimenez folded in the small blind.

"Check!" Koenemann said before the {7-Hearts} could peel on the river. Setti bet 250,000, and Koenemann folded before Setti's chips hit the felt.

Setti then flipped over {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and said, "Jack-Deuce is my lucky cards! It's how I got back in the tournament!"

Joe Wilson
Joe Wilson

Joe Wilson had his last 305,000 in chips in on a {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades} board from the big blind, and Todd Skoumal had the chips out to put him at risk.

Joe Wilson: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Todd Skoumal: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Wilson had the hand locked up before the {8-Clubs} could fall on the river, and he doubled up.

Sciscoe Over Two Million

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

"Turned top two against a flopped set," Kyle Hinnerichs said while gesturing towards the empty seat of Nathan Hays. Timothy Sciscoe was bust stacking up the last of Hays' chips, and now sits with a commanding chip lead.

Eliminated in 34th-36th ($1,723)

Sciscoe Fades the World For Huge Double

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Timothy Sciscoe
Timothy Sciscoe

Timothy Sciscoe raised to 60,000 from the button, and Matt Morfitt called in the small blind.

Morfitt checked the {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop to Sciscoe, who bet 120,000. Morfitt check-raised all in, and Sciscoe called off his last 680,000.

Timothy Sciscoe: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Matt Morfitt: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

"Hold one time!" Sciscoe yelled upon seeing Morfitt's straight flush draw.

The {q-Spades} turn and {a-Clubs} river did indeed brick off for Sciscoe, and Morfitt shared a fist bump with Sciscoe before sending over the double.

Perry Busts in Controversial Hand

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Colin Perry jammed for 190,000 from under the gun. Jon Stanfield, not having seen this action, threw 50,000 silently into the pot. Drew Mowen then three-bet shoved for 270,000, and then after Stanfield folded, he noticed that Perry had jammed initially.

A floor was called over, and the floor ruled that, since Perry had jammed and Stanfield threw out chips, he was committed to calling the 190,000, but his hand was still dead.

Colin Perry: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Drew Mowen: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

With the extra 190,000 in the pot, Mowen nearly tripled up after a {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts} runout gave him the last of Perry's chips.

Queen-Deuce? No Problem For Garles

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Tim Garles
Tim Garles

Tim Anstine limped in from the hijack, and Tim Garles jammed for 116,000 in the small blind. Anstine called.

Tim Anstine: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Tim Garles: {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Queen-deuce turned into a monster on the {2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, and Anstine could only chuckle in amusement as the {10-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river failed to improve his aces.
