Ups and Downs for Doc Henson, Others

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Doc Hanson
Doc Hanson

Doc Henson has been driving the action at his table and recently scored a knockout in dramatic fashion with {q-}{q-} against his opponent's {a-}{k-}. The flop brought an ace but Henson hit a queen on the turn to secure the knockout. A few hands later, Henson made a boat, he told us, only to run into quad nines held by Scott Bullard.

Ryan Phan, who finished 11th in the 2018 WSOP Main Event, has entered flight A but is off to a slow start with 13,800 of his starting stack still in play.

Joe Lopez
Joe Lopez

Joe Lopez is leading the field in Level 3 with 41,800 after going on a run. "I've had queens, aces, and jacks," Lopez tells us.

"And I ran into two of 'em," Dave Queen laments from two seats away.

Two more RunGood ambassadors have joined the field with Ray Henson and Blair Hinkle taking their seats in fight A.

Zeluf Holds

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante
Sarah Zeluf
Sarah Zeluf

Sarah Zeluf opened to 700 in the cutoff and pickup up callers from the button and the big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the small blind led for 1,300. Zeluf called as did the player on the button.

The small blind led again on the {5-Hearts} turn, this time for 1,500. Zeluf called and the button came along to see a {5-Clubs} river.

The small blind led once again, this time for 4,500. Zeluf called and the button shook his head before kicking in his hand.

The small blind turned over {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for top pair but Zeluf had that trumped with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} to collect the healthy pot.

Too Good to Fold, Not Good Enough to Win

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante
Eric Barkdoll
Eric Barkdoll

After a raise and a call, Kipp Smith and Eric Barkdoll went heads up to a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Smith led from the big blind for 700 and Barkdoll called. The dealer added the {5-Spades} to the turn and Smith continued for 1,100.

Barkdoll then announced a raise to 2,400, which Smith quickly called. The river paired the board again with the {4-Diamonds} and Smith checked. Smith announced "3,200," and put out a T5,000 chip. Barkdoll picked his hole cards up off the table to reveal {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} to his immediate neighbors, then announced a call.

Barkdoll tabled {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a full house and took down the pot.

"You should have been here for the last one," Doc Henson told us from Barkdoll's right. "I had a set of nines against [Smith's] straight, but an ace on the river gave me a boat."
