Kovalski Pays Off m.a-0000; Lucky Double for van Hoof

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

"m.a-0000" raised from the cutoff and was called by Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski in the big blind. On the {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Kovalski check-called a bet of 132,000 and they checked the {9-Diamonds} turn.

After the {q-Spades} river, Kovalski check-called a hefty bet of 560,000 and mucked when m.a-0000 tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for the ace-high straight.

The next all-in showdown would take place only a few minutes later and it was WSOP Main Event finalist Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof that got lucky. He was all-in with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of Bertie "bigstealer" Bayley and you can see the runout below.

Pete “psxfrcndhe" Chen became the 25th place finisher when he found no help with {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} against the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of "digopapel". On a board of {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}, the Brazilian improved to a full house for good measure.

"mahairong" also missed out on the cash pay jump and had to settle for the same amount as Chen. It was a flip with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for "mahairong" and the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} of "Danila4444".

The suited ace-queen made a flush on the river but "Danila4444" had already flopped the full house on the following board:

Arends Among Next Casualties

Level 28 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante
cardinals970 eliminated
cardinals970 eliminated

Only 25 players remain as another trio has run out of chips entirely fewer than 90 minutes into the final day.

First it was "cardinals970" that saw his hopes dashed by "kZhh" when his overpair on the {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} ended up second best to the {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} of the Hungarian. The {7-Hearts} appeared on the turn and the {k-Clubs} on the river was a blank.

"DanielLUCKY" was somewhat unlucky with a button jam holding {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} as Bertie "bigstealer" Bayley with the {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} came along out of the big blind. The {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} board pulled the Brit into the lead on the flop and he remained there to score the knockout.

Ultimately, the wild ride of Jans "Graftekkel" Arends also came to an end. A rather ordinary flip with {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} was the last hand of the Dutch regular who came up short versus Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski's {a-Spades}{k-Spades} on a {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} board.

0m3rta Near the Top

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

"m.a-0000" ended the tournament for "manuverd0n" when his {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} came from behind to beat {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds} thanks to a {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board.

Right after that, 0m3rta flirted with the chip lead when he tangled with "Cottonbud07". In a battle of the blinds, the latter min-bet the {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and was called by the Dutchman. After the {8-Diamonds} turn, "Cottonbud07" bet 117,000 and called a raise to 420,000 before check-calling a bet of 351,075 on the {4-Hearts} river.

0m3rta tabled the {7-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a straight and won the pot.

First Break of the Day

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

The remaining 29 players are on their first scheduled 5-minute break.

"xnrobix", "arron8" and "cantstopmeAA" have been eliminated just prior as the field has been cut down rapidly in the first 55 minutes of play.

"cantstopmeAA" held {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} of "VzB_Poker", who hit a set on the {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and turned a full house on the {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} runout.

Last but not least, arron8 got it in ahead with the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and faced the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} of Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet. The {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} run out gave Nolet a pair of jacks eventually.

"mahairong" cracked the queens of Kenneth "kenny05" Smaron when his eights flopped a set.

Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof took a hit after clashing with Pete “psxfrcndhe" Chen. A flip emerged in which Chen's {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} got there to beat {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} on a board of {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Jans "Graftekkel" Arends had a kicker problem with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} against the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of "manuverd0n" and failed to catch any help on the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} board.

jareth3542 Busts PSMozak

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

"jareth3542" was one of the shorter stacks heading into the day and found a timely double to pull ahead of "PSMozak", who arrived late. They both clashed and it was "PSMozak" at risk with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} while "jareth3542" had the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The board came {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and that gave "jareth3542" a flush,

In the meanwhile, "mamamamama70" was eliminated in 33rd place and that reduced the field to the final four tables.
