Rudolph Bubbles; Astedt Also Gone

WATnlos bubbles
WATnlos bubbles

There were two all-in and call on the bubble and Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph was the shorter stack and at risk, holding the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} against the "Ad9d] of "Belqi". On a board of {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Belqi turned a flush to let the bubble burst.

However, the second all-in featured the most-classic race in No Limit Hold'em as Niklas "Lena900" Astedt got it in with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} of Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet and you can see the outcome of that below.

Nemeth Eliminated Before the Money

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

A big flip left the hopes of Andras "probirs" Nemeth in jeopardy as his {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} faced the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of "FeriBo".

While the Hungarian high stakes regular was ahead preflop, a king appeared right away and that left him with crumbs and in the big blind next.

probirs left very short

"Shansovne415" then raised to 40,000 and FeriBo called, as did "manuverd0n". The three remaining active players checked the {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Shansovne415 bet the {10-Clubs} turn for 100,000, only "FeriBo" called. No bets were made on the {j-Spades} river and the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Shansovne415 ended up as the winning hand to oust Nemeth in 76th place.

Hannes "SuchADegen" Speiser would make it one spot further and also came up short of a payday beyond $1250 in bounty prizes.

C. Darwin2 Eliminated
C. Darwin2 Eliminated

In the late stages of the last level, the currently ranked fourth player on Pocket Fives fell while another big name of the online poker circuit doubled.

"busto_soon" jammed the button into two shorter stacks including Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson, who called as second-shortest stack with the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} in the big blind. "Ldd2911" stuck around from the small blind with {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. "busto_soon" was flipping with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and scored one bounty on the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board as Mattsson was done for the event, Ldd2911 tripled up.

It wouldn't take long for the next fireworks on the same table. Francisco "Tomatee" Benitez raised to 10,000 and Pablo "pabritz" Brito called. Juan “Malaka$tyle” Pardo three-bet to 45,000 and Benitez was the only caller.

On the {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Pardo bet small and was called, then checked the {8-Clubs} turn. Benitez jammed and the Spaniard used up most of his time bank before making the call with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Benitez had outs with the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and got there thanks to the {6-Clubs} river.

Triple Up for L. Veldhuis

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis was all in for very few big blinds. "thx4urm0n3y" min-raised out of the small blind and digopapel called out of the big blind.

The two active players checked the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, thx4urm0n3y bet the {a-Diamonds} turn and was called before his jam on the {9-Clubs} river forced a fold from digopapel. thx4urm0n3y was bluffing with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Veldhuis tripled with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

However, soon after the PokerStars ambassador defended out of the big blind against digopapel and check-raised a {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop. digopapel jammed and Veldhuis called it off.

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis: {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Veldhuis Enters the Fray

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante
Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

Well-known Dutch poker pros Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof and PokerStars ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis have been spotted in the field. The latter has a big following on Twitch where he regularly streams tournaments. Early on, Veldhuis has lost some chips and faces Vlad "dariepoker" Darie and Dietrich "2pacnrw16" Fast.

On a three-way {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Veldhuis in the small blind and "gambol_time" in the big blind check-called a bet by Vlad to see the {10-Diamonds} turn. Veldhuis check-called another 6,247 by Vlad to see the {k-Clubs} river on which he then checked and faced a third barrel worth 14,089.

That proved to be enough to force a fold from Veldhuis, who dropped to just over 80k. The Dutchman won the next pot with ¢Jd10d] versus {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} to climb back up.
