girafganger7 Still Going Strong

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Three big names currently share the same table in level seven as 393 players out of 501 entries remain, which means that the guaranteed prize pool has already been surpassed.

Belgian online legend "girafganger7" won a small pot off Mike "SirWatts" Watson when he raised to 4,000 from under the gun and was flat-called by Watson, who then bet small on a queen-high flop. "girafganger7" check-called the 3,000 and they checked a low blank and the {a-Diamonds} turn, the pot was awarded to "girafganger7" with {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a pair of queens.

Just one seat over is Ivan "Negriin" Luca, who has more than three times as many chips as the short-stacked Watson.

Veldhuis Triples; Busts After

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 175 ante
Triple Up for L. Veldhuis
Triple Up for L. Veldhuis

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis was all in for very few big blinds. "thx4urm0n3y" min-raised out of the small blind and digopapel called out of the big blind.

The two active players checked the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, thx4urm0n3y bet the {a-Diamonds} turn and was called before his jam on the {9-Clubs} river forced a fold from digopapel. thx4urm0n3y was bluffing with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Veldhuis tripled with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

However, soon after the PokerStars ambassador defended out of the big blind against digopapel and check-raised a {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop. digopapel jammed and Veldhuis called it off.

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis: {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
digopapel: {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The remainder of the board ran out as follows:

For fewer than 30 big blinds, "marathur1" in the big blind got his stack in before the flop with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} following a raise by Antoine "A.Saout" Saout and two cold calls. Saout reshoved with the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and the {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} favored the two-time WSOP Main Event finalist.

dartazzzz doubles through fanen
dartazzzz doubles through fanen

"fanen" min-raised to 2,400 and then four-bet to 26,400 when "dartazzzz" three-bet from two seats over. The call followed and "fanen" bet the {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop for 27,900, half the pot, which "dartazzzz" called.

The jam by "fanen" followed on the {5-Spades} turn and "dartazzzz" called it off with the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. It was a flip against the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} of "fanen" who bricked his superior flush draw and two overcards on a blank {q-Clubs} river.

Only a few minutes later, "fanen" was eliminated a few minutes prior to the second break.

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

They headed to the {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop on which Veldhuis check-called a bet worth 7,168 by "7Phenom1991". The {3-Clubs} followed on the turn and Veldhuis check-called an even bigger bet of 20,400 to see the {2-Spades} appear on the river.
