Speranza Delivers a Pile on the River

Gianluca “Tankanza” Speranza pumped it up to 4,000 under the gun and action folded around to Rob "batoelrob" Hollink, who was in the big blind and defended. The two saw a flop of and both players checked.

The turn fell and Hollink bet 4,000. Speranza peeled, bringing the river . Hollink fired out another 8,000, leaving just under 40,000 behind. Speranza thought for a bit, activating his time bank to think some more before shoving all in to put Hollink to a decision for his remaining chips.

Hollink thought for about 15 seconds and sent his cards to the muck, resulting in Speranza taking down the pot.

The turn was . Greenwood checked to van Hoof, who bet 5,090. Greenwood check-raised to 30,695 and van Hoof made the call.

The river fell and Greenwood checked. Van Hoof went into his time bank and proceeded to shove all in for effectively just shy of 250,000, a bet of over three times the size of the pot. Greenwood then went into the tank, activating his time bank before deciding to make the call.

Action folded around to Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs, who was on the button and opened to 6,000. Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot called from the small blind and "luckyfish89" three-bet to 33,000 in the big blind. Ponakovs folded to put action back onto Talbot, who four-bet shoved for 169,000 effective. "luckyfish89" called off their remaining chips and hands were shown in preparation for the runout.
