Quads for Carrel

Level 17 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

In the last hand before the players went on a scheduled 5-minute break, Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski raised to 56,500 on the button and was called by Charlie "Epiphany77" Carrel. The {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop was check-raised from 35,580 to 110,179 by Carrel and the 52s] turn was checked.

Carrel bet the {3-Spades} river for 84,780 and he was paid off by Badziakouski to reveal {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, which the Belorussian conceeded with a "nh" in chat.

The remaining 37 players have since returned from a scheduled 5-minute break to continue their path to the money. And Carrel then replied with a "Thanks broski ❤️" in chat.

Badziakouski Busts "EEE27"; Carrel Gets Value From Ferreira

Level 16 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

"EEE27" four-bet jammed for nearly 22 and a half big blinds with the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and was called by three-bettor Mikita "fish2013" Baziakouski in the cutoff with the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

The {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board kept queens in the lead and sent "EEE27" to the rail.

In one of the last hands before the break before the blinds had gone up, Charlie "Epiphany77" Carrel raised to 41,800 and was called by Rui "RuiNF" Ferreira in the cutoff. Carrel fired three barrels worth 44,574 on the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, 114,529 on the {4-Diamonds} turn and 333,600 on the {10-Hearts} river.

After the final bet, Ferreira used nearly his entire timebank and called. Carrel's {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} dragged in the very healthy pot.

Bujtas Gets Value From Eibinger

Level 16 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger made it 40,000 to go and Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas called out of the big blind, then check-called a bet of 27,500 on the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Once the {a-Clubs} fell on the turn, Bujtas checked and so did Eibinger.

The {6-Clubs} river paired the board and Bujtas bet 82,500, which Eibinger called only to muck when being shown {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for aces and sixes.

Five Tables Remain

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Pablo "elmelogno4" Melogno first lost a bigger pot in a battle big blind versus button when his {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} had the slightly inferior kicker to the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of bustoville" on the button on a board of {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

In the next hand he lost a flip with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} as Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski got there with {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} after spiking an ace on the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Spades} board.

Soon after the wild ride of Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois ended as his {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} were dominated by "Futti18" with the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. After a {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Hearts} board, Lefrancois vanished while "Futti18" emerged as one of the biggest stacks as he dragged in another pot worth more than half a million chips.

"imluckbox" also lost the fight with his short stack as the push out of the small blind with {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} was called by Wiktor "limitless" Malinowski, who flipped over the {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Spades} board delivered an ace for Malinowski and his opponent failed to catch his gutshot.

More for Mateos

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos made it 32,800 to go from the cutoff and was called by "bustoville" in the small blind. The duo headed to the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, which was checked through.

After the {8-Clubs} turn, "bustoville" bet 31,548 and called a raise to 112,483 by Mateos. On the {j-Diamonds} river, "bustoville" elected to check and a bet of 232,000 by Mateos won the pot uncontested.

Down to 44 Players

Level 14 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Soon after coming back from the break, another four players were eliminated including Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo and "Sintoras".

Pardo jammed the small blind with {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and was called by big stack "marjanko89" out of the big blind with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The board came {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and that was it for the Spaniard.

"Sintoras" lost his stack in two hands. He was first all-in with ace-king against the aces of Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer and the ace-king of "iamivar" (see screenshot below).

Triple Up for Mr. Tim Caum

The remaining few big blinds then vanished with {a-Spades}{5-Spades} against the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} of "iamivar as the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} delivered no ace or third spade.
