Chop for Rudolph; Two Pots for Mulder

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph was forced out of a pot by Niklas "Lena900" Astedt and dropped below a million. He then ended up all-in with the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} on the button and was called by Astedt in the big blind, who had the superior kicker in {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop made a chop likely while Rudolph was in trouble on the {9-Hearts} turn. He now needed a king or ace to chop and sure enough spiked the {a-Clubs} river to escape from elimination for now.

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder took a small chunk out of the big stack of Andras "probirs" Nemeth when he defended the big blind against a button raise and they checked the {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} flop and {5-Spades} turn. Mulder bet the {5-Spades} river for 255,522 into a pot of 345,300 and won the pot right there.

Mulder won the next pot in same fashion when he called a 120,000 min-raise by Sam "SamSquid" Grafton while in the small blind and they checked the Kd9c8h] flop and {5-Spades} turn. Mulder's bet on the {2-Hearts} river was for 105,750 into 352,500 and Grafton folded.

Muehloecker Chips Up

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph min-raised to 120,000 and was called by Michael "imluckbox" Addamo on the button, Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker tossed in the additional chips from the big blind. The {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop was checked to Addamo who made it 110,625 to go, picking up two calls.

The {q-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Hearts} on the river brought no betting action, and Muehloecker won the pot with {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flush.

Seven Players Remain on First Break

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Michael "imluckbox" Addamo called a raise to 110,000 by Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker while in the big blind and check-raised from 71,750 to 245,000 on the {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. They checked the {k-Spades} turn and Addamo check-jammed into a bet of 777,000 by Muehloecker on the {6-Spades} river to force a fold.

Addamo sent that profit over to Niklas "Lena900" Astedt a few hands later when he three-bet from 110,000 to 300,000 against the raise of Astedt from under the gun and was called. The {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop was checked and Astedt then bet the {10-Clubs} turn for 187,500 before facing a hefty raise to 800,000, which the Swede called.

They checked the {8-Spades} river and Astedt tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a straight as the winning hand.

All remaining hands until the first scheduled 5-minute break brought no major pots as Andras "probirs" Nemeth pulled further ahead at the top of the leaderboard.

Two Doubles for Rudolph

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

The blinds were about to hit a very short-stacked Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph and he pushed from under the gun with the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} for slightly more than five big blinds. Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder called in the big blind with {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and picked up a ton of outs on the {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and {7-Clubs} turn.

However, the {7-Spades} river bricked and Rudolph doubled.

One hand later, Rudolph clashed with Francisco "Tomatee" Benitez and had the best of it with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} versus {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} on a board of {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to double once more.

Jouhkimainen Eliminated by Mulder

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

The next short stack to get his chips in was Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen, who pushed from the cutoff and was isolated by Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder on the button.

Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Jouhkimainen needed an ace or king and some backdoor outs emerged on the {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {5-Diamonds} turn was a blank and so was the {3-Hearts} river to end his run in 10th place. Mulder recovered some chips that he had previously lost in a hand against Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker.

Muehloecker was behind but flopped two pair on {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, then improved to a full house on the {a-Clubs} turn. His opponent from Finland needed a king but the river was the blank {2-Diamonds} to reduce the field to the final 10.
