Martirosyan Eliminates Astedt

Round 1, Level 5: 800-1,600, 200 ante

One of the most interesting battles was the one between Artur "mararthur1" Martirosyan and Niklas "Lena900" Astedt. Martirosyan had taken a lead early and finally managed to take all of Astedt's chips in a hand where he limped from the button and called Astedt's raise to 5,600.

The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} Martirosyan called Astedt's continuation bet for 4,800.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Astedt led with a shove for 23,528, getting a call from Martirosyan. The Russian player showed {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} with two pair and it was enough against Astedt's {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.
