Current chip leader is relatively recent entrant Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns, with just shy of 230,000. Only a handful of others approach this stack size at this early point, Tyler "Wonderboy222" Goatcher and Michael "merla888" Gathy among them.

From Min to All-In in Four Bets

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante
Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink

Rob "batoelrob" Hollink opened for 1,680, finding cutoff "hotmark777" three-betting to 7,140. Back to Hollink, who threw in around a third of his chips as a four-bet: 24,000. Quick as you like, a jam for 100,000 from "hotmark777" and a call.

{a-Clubs}{k-Spades} played {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} with no tough outdraw (the board a chop-creating {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}).

Watson Holds 'Em

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante

Mike “SirWatts” Watson proved undislodgeable from the button, calling a three-bet to 6,600 from big blind “nikolaaa1234” after he’d called a cutoff open (to 1,440). Heads up to a {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, Watson called 7,808, then a further 15,616 when the turn paired the board with the {6-Hearts}. The river brought the {2-Hearts}; both players checked and Watson’s {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} picked up the pot (his opponent showing down {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Veldhuis in Amongst It

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis has been involved in a large number of pots in the first level though his near starting stack may not reflect it at first glance. He dropped over 15,000 in the first half of Level one, but back they came in a couple of hands in a row, the first blind on blind vs. "onlymany" who led 500 on a {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop. Veldhuis made the call, and again to a second lead of 1,250 on the {k-Spades} turn. The river brought the innocuous seeming {6-Spades}; "onlymany" check-called a bet of 3,000 from Veldhuis and mucked seeing his {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Another rivered two pair came along seconds later, as a three-way hand vs. Pascal "Päffchen" Hartmann (big blind) and "ja.sam.gale" (under the gun plus one) saw Veldhuis check back the button on a flop of {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Hartmann checked the {6-Spades} turn, "ja.sam.gale" bet 2,000, and Veldhuis alone called. On the {q-Clubs} river, "ja.sam.gale" bet out 8,000, called quickly by Veldhuis with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}; his opponent's {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} went into the muck.

Recent entry Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak is on the same table, with over 115,000 at the first break.
