Who Will Win the Title in the 2020 SCOOP-110-H: $5,200 PLO High Roller?

Rui Ferreira
Rui Ferreira

The penultimate high stakes champion in a Pot-Limit Omaha event during the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) will be crowned today as 14 hopefuls out of a field of 110 entries return to their seats to battle for the title in SCOOP-110-H: $5,200 PLO [6-Max, High Roller].

All remaining contenders have a portion of the $550,000 prize pool locked up already and the min-cash is worth $11,352.22, whereas the winner can look forward to a payday of $123,645.64 and the elusive SCOOP title that comes along with it.

A late surge on Day 1 propelled Jean-Francois "bmwmcoupe" Talbot into the top spot and he will return with a stack of 1,519,193, followed by Rui "RuiNF" Ferreira with 1,378,284. Ferreira currently leads the 2020 SCOOP overall leaderboard and will add further points to his tally whereas his nearest follower Konstantin "krakukra" Maslak bubbled last night.

Another two players have a seven-figure stack including Finland's "XD89lol<3" (1,301,521) and Noah "Exclusive" Boeken (1,001,339), whereas Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger returns with the fifth-biggest stack of 845,975. Some other notables still in contention include Andre "Sira Al Aziz" Santos (740,955), Belarmino "PaGaOVelhinho" de Souza (698,358), former SCOOP-H Main Event champion Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi (593,292), and high stakes player "WRUUUUM" (359,068).
