Sylvain "caIcuIer_" Loosli Busts in 13th Place

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Sylvain Loosli
Sylvain Loosli

Sylvain "caIcuIer_" Loosli had less than 10 big blinds when he shoved all in preflop holding {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, and he would be called by big stack "m.a-0000", who held {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The board would run down {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}, and Loosli wasn't able to river a straight to survive.

Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer Back on Top

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Well that didn't last very long! Not long after dropping out of the chip lead, Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer has just busted Mathias "giftmyra" Joelsson to vault back into the chip lead. Here's how it happened.

O'Dwyer raised on the button to 160,000, and Joelsson defended his big blind. Joelsson check called a bet of 94,400 after the flop came {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and the {8-Spades} hit the turn. Another check from Joelsson saw O'Dwyer bet 408,000, but this time, Joelsson went for a check raise to 881,484. O'Dwyer called, and the {5-Spades} completed the board.

Joelsson moved all in for his final 844,731, and O'Dwyer beat him into the pot with {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for trip deuces. Joelsson had {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for an inferior two pair, and just like that, O'Dwyer is up to over eight million.

Matt "OLD TIME GIN" Stone Busts Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling to Take the Chip Lead

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling raised it up to 140,088, and Matt "OLD TIME GIN" Stone was the only caller from the small blind. The flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} saw Stone check to Pantling, who bet 144,848. Stone check raised to 435,400, and Pantling called to see the {a-Diamonds} hit the turn. Stone decided to check again and Pantling fired 484,848. Stone called, and the {10-Spades} completed the board.

A third check from Stone saw Pantling move all in for 1,305,507, and Stone wasted little time in calling with {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes. Pantling revealed {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, showing that the river gave him an unfortunate second pair. With that pot, Stone has overtaken Steve O"Dwyer for the chip lead, the first time the Irish high roller has lost it all day.

Tyler "Wonderboy222" Goatcher Eliminated in 16th Place

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

"mikki696" appears to be making the most out of the second life he recently received thanks to that river two outer, as he is now up to over four million after this pot.

"mikki696" raised to 140,000, and Tyler "Wonderboy222" Goatcher shoved all in for just over a million. "mikki696" quickly called with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, and was flipping against the pocket nines of Goatcher. "mikki696" would flop an ace, and Goatcher wasn't able to come back from there.

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos Continues to Climb

Level 28 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Action folded all the way around to Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos on the button, and he raised to 140,000. Both blinds, "jwall888" and "slayerv1fan", called, and the flop came down {8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Action checked to Mateos, who bet 164,588. "Jwall888" folded, but "slayerv1fan" check raised for most of his stack to 665,000.

Mateos tanked for a bit before shoving all in, and "slayerv1fan" called with {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flush draw. Mateos tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, and Mateos was able to fade a club, sending another big pot over to the Spainish pro.

"mikki696" Spikes Two Outer to Double

Level 28 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante

"mikki696" started the action by min raising to 140,000, and he got two callers, including Mathias "giftmyra" Joelsson on the button. The flop came down {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Action checked to Joelsson, who bet out 224,000. "mikki696" came back with a raise to 1,330,000, leaving just 80,000 behind. Joelsson quickly raised to get those chips in, and the cards were tables.

"mikki696": {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Mathias "giftmyra" Joelsson: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

"mikki696" was in a world of hurt, but amazingly, the {a-Clubs} would come on the river to give him an unlikely double up to 3,361,190

"copag holdem" Busts Jargo "bungakat" Alavali

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Jargo "bungakat" Alavali shoved his final 11 big blinds in preflop holding pocket fives, but a few seats over, "copag holdem" had been dealt a dominating pair of nines. "copag holdem" would flop a straight draw, and Alavali was only hoping for a chop come the river, but that wouldn't happen, sending Alavali to the virtual rail in 22nd place.
