After nine hours of play, perennial high roller winner Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer bagged up the most virtual chips, with a huge stack of 5,607,112. O'Dwyer would earn most of that stack through Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns, after the two had a huge clash on the final hand of the day.

The remaining field is stacked with players you recognize from the biggest stages in poker. This list includes Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos (2,178,998), Joao "Naza114" Vieira (1,530,554), Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling (1,187,973), Joao "INeedMassari" Simao (735,019), and the aforementioned Burns, who still has 731,639 after losing that pot to O'Dwyer.

The top 53 players finished in the money today. Amongst those who finished in the money, but won't be making it to Day 2, are Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis (29th), Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger (33rd), Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin (36th), and Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov (45th) amongst others.

The action will resume tomorrow at 13:05 PM EST. Be sure to come back to Pokernews.com then to find out if Steve O'Dwyer can add yet another title to his already incredible poker resume, or if someone else will take home the first place prize of $150,547.

Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer Wins Biggest Pot of the Day on the Final Hand

Level 24 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer and Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns had been battling back and forth for the chip lead for the last hour, and the former just won a huge preflop cooler to see his stack soar to over 5 million, easily the chip lead as the day has just ended. Here's how it went down.

O'Dwyer raised to 77,000 to start, and Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, who had just been crippled on the hand before, called all in for 34,700. Burns was next in the pot, and he three bet to 247,885. O'Dwyer reraised to 665,000, Burns shoved for 3.5 million, and O'Dwyer quickly called, making for a pot of 5.6 million.

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Burns likely hoped for a chop after the turn, but the river provided no such luck, and O'Dwyer scooped the pot to bag the overnight chip lead. Stay tuned for a full recap to be posted shortly.

Nolet Nets a Knock-out

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Ricardo "2Much$4U_08" Lima shoved all in for his final 120,000 and change, and Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet shoved over the top with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. He was well out in front of the {a-Spades}{4-Spades} of his opponent.

The flop brought some addition outs for "2Much$4U_08", but a jack on the turn meant that only a five would keep him alive. A nine came instead, and Nolet scored the knockout, and also got the rest of the field a pay jump.
