Miller Chilled

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

James Miller flopped a set of deuces and got Steve Przybyl to commit all his chips with the {a-}{q-} after flopping top two.

A third shorty came along for the ride with the {q-}{10-} and Miller looked good to collect it all until the case queen turned.

Przybyl made the big boat to more than double and Miller was left wondering what could have been.

Ciffa Doubles Big in Joe-on-Joe Action

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Joe Ciffa
Joe Ciffa

After a 15,000-chip open and a Joseph [Removed:340] three-bet, Joe Ciffa jammed the small blind.

[Removed:340] was the only taker with the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Ciffa was racing for his tournament life and most of [Removed:340]'s chips holding the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

Jacks held on a {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} run out.

I See The Train 'A Comin'

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The Blake Napierala train was rolling right along when it ran into London, Ontario, Canada's Steve Shaw moments ago.

Napierala had pushed over the 500,000 mark with some big moves over the last level when he got in a sizable pot with Shaw and was forced to make a big decision. The board read {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Shaw had pushed in for 78,000 into a pot of about 80,000.

Napierala did some calculations and made the call, showing naught but a queen when Shaw rolled over the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} baby set. Despite losing a sizable chunk, the Napierala train was far from derailed. He's still sitting on 400,000 and among the leaders.

Hobrecker Can't Get There

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jeffery Hobrecker got Steve Przybyl all in on a {j-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} flop with too many outs.

His {a-Spades}{4-Spades} essentially missed the {4-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river to give Przybyl and his {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} the double up.

Boutelle Over Meyers

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 400 ante

Chris Meyers made it 7,000 under the gun and Kurtis Boutelle flatted behind.

Meyers continued for 10,000 on a {10-}{8-}{3-} flop and Boutelle flatted again. Meyers fired 17,000 at the {3-} board pairing turn and, once again, Boutelle made the call. Finally, on the {q-} river, Meyers checked. Boutelle bet 43,000, Meyers raised all in for effectively 55,000 more and Boutelle called off with two queens, having made a full house on the river.

Meyers had two tens, losing his early lead after the devastating boat-over-boat debacle.
