Big, Getting Bigger

A few more reentries today has the numbers for this flight up. They had yet to break 50 for a morning flight through the first two, but the board reads 67 and counting right now.

Of course, this serves to juice up the prizepool as well and it is fast approaching $30,000 now, with registration open for another hour and a sixth and final starting flight set for 6 p.m. tonight.

A little creative math allows us to estimate there will be a $9,000-plus first place prize at the end of this thing, plus some decent cash for those running deep. It all represents a pretty solid return on investment for the $125 buy-in.

With word of this opportunity spreading across Western New York fast, tonight's field should be the biggest yet and that could push the numbers up even higher.
