An Orbit With Chip Leader Bruce Pace
They say he plays almost every hand. They say he builds stacks quickly and blows them up just as fast. So we took an orbit with chip leader Bruce Pace just to see.
Pace began the orbit in the big blind with 165,000 in chips - Good for the chip lead.
Hand #1: Three players limped in and Pace bumped it to 2,000 from the big blind. All three called and saw the 
flop. After the small blind checked, Pace made it 4,500. Only one player called, but she folded when Pace made it 8,000 on the 
turn.
Hand #2: After a 2,000-chip open, Pace folded the small blind.
Hand #3: The player under the gun opened to 2,200 and got two callers, including Pace. The flop fell 
and UTG made it 3,200. Both players called. UTG checked the turn and the third player in the hand made it 6,000.
Pace raised to 15,000 and UTG folded. The other player called and they both checked the 
river. Pace showed 
and took it down with the straight. His opponent held the 
. Pace was up close to 200,000 following the hand.
Hand #4: There was one limper in front of him and Pace folded.
Hand #5: There was a limp and a raise in front of him and Pace folded.
Hand #6: Pace opened to 2,500 and a player behind shoved for 19,500. Pace folded.
Hand #7: There was one limper in front of him and Pace folded.
Hand #8: Pace folded under the gun plus one.
Hand #9: Pace made it 2,500 from under the gun and three players called. The flop came 
and Pace checked. Randy Pfeifer made it 7,600 and only Pace called.
The turn brought the 
and Pace checked. Pfeifer bet 22,000 and Pace called. The river came the 
and Pace checked again. Pfeifer moved all in for 43,100. Pace folded.
The orbit ended with Pace still on 165,000 and firmly in the chip lead.
