Barry Kruger opened to 2,000 from under the gun, Jason James three-bet to 6,500 and Kruger made the call. The dealer fanned out a flop of {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Kruger check-called a bet of 5,000 from James.

The {a-Clubs} came on the turn, Kruger checked to James who bet pushed in a bet of 10,000. Kruger quickly folded his hand, giving James yet another pot.

The board read {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, action was checked to Jason James who bet 2,000 from the hijack position, Barry Kruger check-raised to 4,000 from the big blind position and James made the call.

A {10-Clubs} fell on the turn, Kruger led out for 5,000 and James made the call. The {8-Hearts} flipped over on the river, Kruger again pushed in a bet of 5,000 but this time James opted to raise to 10,000.

After a few moments of thought Kruger chucked his cards into the muck and James added to his stack through one of the leaders.

Cohen Pushes it All In

Barry Kruger opened to 1,200 from the cutoff, Jason James three-bet to 4,000 and Rick Cohen moved all in from the big blind for around 26,500.

Both players took some time before folding, Cohen turned over the {q-Hearts} as he pulled in the pot.

James Leaves Filipovic with Crumbs

Bernard Greenspoon opend to 1,200 from the hijack, Steven Filipovic three-bet to 3,800 on the button and Jason James four-bet to 10,800. Action folded back to Filipovic who moved all in and was instantly called by James, the players turned over their hands and James would be at risk of elimination.

This years Summer Slam winner was ahead with his ace high. The flop came down a scary one for him as the dealer fanned out {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and James picked up a ton of outs.

The turn was a brick when the {6-Spades} hit the felt and Filipovic would need to dodge to eliminate James from the tournament. The river came down the {3-Diamonds}, completing the flush for James, securing him a full double up and leaving Filipovic with under a big blind. He would take an exit the very next hand.
