Riise Triples Up

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Picking up the action on the river with the board reading 643Q6, John Arne Riise led out with a bet of 5,000 from the small blind. Leonardo Boen raised to 13,000 in the cutoff and Deniz Anselmo flat-called on the button. Riise quickly jammed the rest of his 16,200 chips into the middle and both players called.

Riise whipped over 44 for a full house while both of his opponents hit the six on the river with A6 and 65 respectively. Riise raked in a healthy pot in the early going while Lukas Robinson took a seat to his right.

De Souza Gets Active in the Blinds

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Virginia Samara raised to 800 from under the gun and was called by John Arne Riise and Bianca De Souza in the blinds. The flop fell AK3 and Samara continued with a bet of 1,000. Riise stepped aside but De Souza called to see the Q on the turn.

Samara tossed in a bet of 2,000 on the turn and that was enough to force De Souza out of the hand.

On the next hand, Leonardo Boen raised it up from middle position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop came A72 and Boen made a bet of 900. All three opponents called including De Souza.

The turn brought the 5 and Boen fired another bullet of 2,500. De Souza was the only player to call this time and the K completed the board. Both players quickly checked and De Souza tabled 75 for two pair to claim the pot.
